I opened Kingston Dementia Homecare Services Inc because I found that many people living with a dementia needed more care and services than what the available resources could provide. I also wanted services developed around the clients’ needs, delivered by consistent and properly trained professionals who not only had the formal training, but also had experience working directly with those living with dementia and their loved ones. I wanted to structure my services so that the staff aren’t running from one client to another every 8 mins, but that they got to know them as a person and that they could also take pride in the care they provide. To me, this isn’t just a company, it’s my life goal to provide exceptional care to those who need it and to reassure their loved ones that we were there to help alleviate some of the stress that comes with loving someone who is living with a dementia.
